Give back, have fun! That’s what it’s all about. Do you have an activity you love to do? Well you can do it and give back. There are many fundraising campaigns, runs, walks, biking and more focused on having fun while spreading awareness and raising money for major causes.

Team in Training 

Team in Training (TNT) partners with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to fundraise. Unlike traditional programs TNT is all encompassing for participants. TNT trains you for your event, helps you fundraise, provides experts to speak on nutrition and is there every step of your journey. The athletic events they do consist of walks and runs of varying distances, triathlons, hiking and cycling competitions. Additionally, TNT works with major racing events (it is sponsored by Nike) or you can pick your own event to raise money for. It’s a national organization so you can easily find one in your city. The training is open to all levels, so there is no limit to what you can do.

Women’s Health Magazine and FEED partnered with the simple concept, run 10 miles feed 10 hungry people in your hometown. Your participation secures 10 meals and you can fundraise to provide more. Since 2012, the program has provided more than 3 million meals to hungry Americans. RUN 10 FEED 10 sponsors races throughout the US, however if you unable to make it to one you can run your own. The events are fun, expertly ran and provide a run that will challenge you without defeating you.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Making Strides brings awareness to breast cancer while raising funds that go to the American Cancer Society to fund research and support to those impacted by the disease. All you have to do is walk and raise. You can get the whole family involved to make it even more enjoyable. This is a national organization so you can find an event in a city near you easily.

Shatterproof Challenge

Unlike traditional activities the Shatterproof challenge consists of repelling from a building. The organization works to help those addicted to drugs and alcohol and the stigmas to those affected, especially protecting children exposed to the disease. Participants can chose their own challenge or race or rappel, which is a unique opportunity. You literally get harnessed and go down a multi-story building. It’s sure to be memorable and even more enjoyable due to the amazing cause of the organization.
